Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has one of the largest and well-established hostel campuses in western India, accommodating around 4,900 students across 12 boys' hostels and 4 girls' hostels, spread over approximately 3 acres. The hostels provide students with essential amenities including beds, cupboards, tables, chairs, heating facilities with automatic gas-fired hot water boilers for winters, dining halls, and common rooms. Hostel fees are affordable, with food served in messes at reasonable rates.

The university’s central library, Smt. Hansa Mehta Library, is a vast academic resource with over 800,000 books and periodicals, around 512 journal subscriptions, and a large reading room that accommodates about 1100 readers at a time.
