What is WBJEE?

WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is a state-level entrance test conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for admission into Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy courses in colleges across West Bengal.

It is one of the most important exams for students aiming to join B. Tech, B.Arch, or B.Pharm programs in the state.

Eligibility

For Engineering:

  • Must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) with:

    • Physics + Mathematics + any one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotech/Computer Science

    • Minimum 45% (General), 40% (SC/ST/OBC)

    • English: Minimum 30% marks

For Pharmacy:

  • Must have passed 10+2 with:

    • Physics + Chemistry + Biology/Mathematics

    • Minimum qualifying marks as per category

  • Must be a resident of India (some seats reserved for West Bengal domicile)

  • Application Fee:

    • ₹500 (General category)

    • ₹400 (SC/ST/OBC)

    • -0.5 in Category II

    • No negative marks in Category III
