 Admission Process 

Techno India University (TIU), Kolkata, follows a modern, mostly online admission process for its Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and PhD programs. The process involves steps from application to entrance exams and counseling, with detailed eligibility criteria and specific timelines.

How to Apply

1. Online Application:

• Visit the official website (technoindiauniversity.ac.in) and go to the admission/apply section.

• Register by providing your basic info (email ID, phone number, etc.).

• Select your desired course and fill out the online application form.

• Pay the application/entrance fee, if applicable, through the online payment gateway.

Entrance Exams

• For B.Tech/B.Pharm: WBJEE, JEE Main, or TNJEE (university’s own test).

• For B.Des/BFA/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA/BBA: University entrance (TNJEE) or direct admission based on 10+2 marks (selected courses).

• For MBA/PGDM: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or university-level entrance test.

• For M.Tech: GATE, WBJEE, JEE Main, or TNJEE.

• For PhD: UGC NET, GATE, JRF, or university entrance exam.

• Some courses allow merit-based admission, while others are strictly entrance exam-based.

Selection Criteria

• Step 1: Fulfill course eligibility and submit application.

• Step 2: Take the required entrance exam or upload national test scores.

• Step 3: Shortlist based on exam/merit results.

• Step 4: Attend counseling (online or in-person) for seat allotment.

• Step 5: Document verification and payment of admission fee.
