XIME Kochi’s admission process for the flagship PGDM program is a multi-stage procedure designed to ensure fair evaluation and holistic selection of talented management aspirants.

How to Apply

• Applications are accepted exclusively through online mode; there is no offline or paper-based application.

• Candidates must visit the official website (www.ximekochi.org) and use the secure application portal to submit details and pay the application fee (₹2,000) via credit/debit card, net banking, or mobile wallet.

• No hard copies or physical documents are needed during initial application submission; all communications occur by email.

Entrance Exams Accepted

• Admission is based on a valid score in one of the national-level management entrance exams: CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, KMAT, or GMAT.

• Cutoff scores (such as CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT ≥ 70 percentile) are typically published during the cycle, and only those meeting cutoffs qualify for further rounds.

Selection Criteria

• Applicants fulfilling eligibility and exam score criteria are shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) rounds, which take place physically at major cities (Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata).

• Final selection is determined by a weighted process:

  • Entrance Exam Score: 35%

  • GD & PI: 40%

  • Academic record (Class X, XII, Graduation): 15%

  • Extracurriculars & Diversity: 10%

• Merit list is announced soon after GD-PI rounds, and selected candidates are notified individually via email.

Admission Timeline

• Applications typically open in November and close in March or April (dates vary by cycle).

• GD-PI rounds are conducted post-shortlisting—usually scheduled in multiple phases between March and May.

• Results are declared within a week after GD-PI rounds.

• Provisional admission letters follow, with seat confirmation and fee payment instructions.

• Classes commence in July of the new academic year.

Candidates must bring the following for GD-PI and later for verification:

• Graduation mark sheets and certificate (min. 50% aggregate, 45% for SC/ST)

• Entrance exam scorecard (CAT, XAT, etc.)

• X, XII mark sheets and certificates

• Photo ID proof (Aadhar, passport, PAN card)

• Recent passport-size photographs

• Category certificate (if applicable)

• Extra-curricular achievement proofs (if claimed)

• Attested copies for all documents
