National Law University Odisha (NLUO) is a distinguished public law university located in Cuttack, Odisha. Established in 2009 through an act passed by the Odisha State Legislature, NLUO is one of the newer members of the National Law University family. Yet, it has quickly earned a reputation for academic excellence and innovation in legal education.
Nestled between the Mahanadi and Kathajodi rivers, the university's 50-acre campus offers a serene and inspiring environment for learning. Its modern infrastructure includes a state-of-the-art academic block, well-equipped classrooms, a spacious library (which has grown to become one of the largest law libraries in Asia), and dedicated residential facilities for students and faculty. The university also features moot court halls, an amphitheater, and a sports complex, contributing to a well-rounded campus experience.
Academically, NLUO offers integrated undergraduate degrees, such as the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), along with postgraduate and doctoral programs in law.
