JIS University, located in Agarpara near Kolkata, West Bengal, is a premier private institution recognized for its multidisciplinary education and research excellence. Established under the JIS University Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act XXII of 2014), the university began its operations in February 2015. It is part of the JIS Group Educational Initiatives, one of the largest educational networks in Eastern India.
