Government Engineering College, Thrissur (GEC Thrissur) is a well‑known engineering college located in Thrissur city, Kerala. It was established in 1957 and is one of the oldest engineering colleges in the state. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Kerala. Its mission is to provide high‑quality technical education and foster innovation, research, and ethical engineering practice. GEC Thrissur has a strong infrastructure with spacious lecture halls, modern computer and electronics labs, workshops, research centres, and a central library.
