Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Ludhiana, is one of the oldest and most respected engineering colleges in Punjab. It was started in 1956 with the goal to provide quality technical education to students. The college is located in Ludhiana and is spread across a large and beautiful 88-acre campus. GNDEC is a private college but has also received support and recognition from the government.

The college is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is affiliated with Punjab Technical University. It has also been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an 'A' grade. This shows that the college maintains a high standard of education. GNDEC has also been ranked in the 200–250 band in the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Rankings 2021 for engineering colleges in India.
