First up, the courses. For undergrads, you’ve got your classic MBBS (100 seats, so yeah, competition’s a bloodbath), then there’s B.Sc Nursing, Allied Health, BPT, BOT, BPO—honestly, alphabet soup if you’re not into healthcare. You want MBBS? NEET-UG is your ticket in. For the other stuff, it’s the college’s entrance test, plus an interview where, I guess, you try not to sweat through your shirt.

Postgrad? MD, MS, truckloads of PG diplomas (seriously, like 57 diplomas and 52 fellowships—how do they even keep track?). You need MBBS and a NEET-PG score that doesn’t suck.

Doctoral level? DM, M.Ch, and Ph.D.—all through NEET-SS. So, yeah, more exams. Shocking, I know.

Admissions for 2025 are as fun as ever. For MBBS, you need to have survived 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, and—duh—a NEET-UG score. Applications are through the CMC portal. No shady capitation stuff, just merit. They do have a “Bible test” if you’re applying under the Christian minority quota, so brush up on your Sunday school stories if that’s your angle.

For PG and doc programs, same drill: NEET-PG or NEET-SS, then the paperwork-and-counselling circus, and finally, you pay up (through proper channels, no suitcases of cash).

Fees? Not as bad as you’d expect for a top-tier med school. MBBS for the whole course: somewhere between ₹2.64–2.9 lakh. PG programs? Annually, ₹20k up to ₹3.07 lakh. B.Sc. and diplomas? ₹1,800 (pocket change) up to ₹49k, and PG diplomas running ₹300 (is that a typo?) up to ₹2.67 lakh.

Placements—now here’s the good stuff. MBBS grads in 2024? 100% placed, median salary hovering at ₹4.77 lakh. PGs? If you do a two-year stint, you’re looking at ₹7.64 lakh median; for three-year PGs, it jumps to ₹12.10 lakh. Placement rate for PGs is basically a guaranteed gig (98–100%).

Rankings? Always flexing. NIRF says they’re 3rd best in India, three years running (2022–2024). India Today agrees—#3. And globally? US News slots them around 770th, which, considering the number of med schools worldwide, is not too shabby.

So, yeah. If you want in, bring your A-game and maybe some good luck charms. This place doesn’t mess around.
